מובא כאן סט 60 סימניות נוספות: 7 המידות של הסמוראי, 12 המזלות של המזרח הרחוק וסימניות מדירוגי קיו מתקדמים; רובן של קיו-8, הדירוג השלישי מעשרת הדירוגים ללימוד קליגרפיה סטנדרטית למתחילים של הסימניות היפניות.
הדירוגים בקליגרפיה (כמו ברוב אומנויות יפן) מתחלקים לשתי קטגוריות: מתחילים (ביפנית: קיו) שהדירוג עבורם הולך לאחור, מדירוג 10 עד 1, ו-מומחים (ביפנית: דאן) שהדירוג עבורם הולך קדימה, מדירוג 1 (דאן מתחיל) עד 10. הסימניות מסודרות משמאל לימין ומלמעלה למטה - לפי סדר לימוד הקווים (תחילה, רק קווים אופקיים, אח"כ גם קווים אנכיים, וכך הלאה) ולפי קושי מיומנות הכתיבה.

Here are 60 more characters: 7 Samurai's virtues, 12 oriental zodiac signs and some from higher Kyū-s; Most of them, are of Kyū-8, the 3rd of 10 grades, in the standard calligraphy learning of the Japanese characters.
the grades in calligraphy (such in most Japanese traditional arts) are divided into 2 categories: beginners (in Japanese: Kyū), which counts backward, from 10 to 1; and experts & masters (in Japanese: Dan), which counts foreward from 1 (Beginner Dan) to 10. The characters here are listed according the writing skills: from left to right, from top to down - from the easiest ones to the reletively hardest ones.
